WHY PARTNER WITH US FOR TEENST 2025?

The journey started with empowering youth, then it progressed to catching them young. In 2017, we began by visiting secondary schools with a mission to ignite purpose. Through our Purpose-Driven Mindset Campaign, we reached out to teenagers who were unsure about their future. Many of them found clarity and confidence. One of them, shared how those early mentorship moments helped him begin to dream again. Today, he’s actively pursuing personal growth and volunteering to mentor others. By 2024, the first edition of the Teen-Stars Skills Training officially kicked off. That year, one of our participants, shared how the program made her believe in her creativity again. “I used to doubt myself,” she said, “but now, I feel like I can do anything.” Greatness feedback after the training, was: “This is more than training. It’s eye-opening. I’m ready to take steps to learn more.” Then there’s Chinenye, a vibrant 12-year-old who joined the maiden edition and took part in the baking class. Today...

WHO IS THIS PERSON MAKING THESE MISTAKES?

Image
#LetsCommunicate_BreakItDown According to John Maxwell, “people don’t like to admit that they need to change. And if they are willing to alter things about themselves, they usually focus on cosmetic changes.” Now, do you think John Maxwell is right? John Killinger once said “Failure is the greatest opportunity I have to know who I really am.” The success that you work so hard to attain keeps getting far away from you most of the times because you still haven’t accepted responsibility for your failures. These failures and mistakes that you have experienced probably had come your way to help you understand yourself better. But you see… you were in a hurry to regret it and give up on your goals. There is absolutely nothing wrong in changing your mind. Nothing wrong with accepting your flaws, understanding yourself better, learning from it and succeeding. “Don’t use your flaws as an excuse to quit. Move forward or sideways.” Garry Marshall. Once you know your flaws, its time to start fo...

Struggle Made Me Want To Give Up. Helpful Struggle Gave Me #Purpose.

What would you do if you woke up tomorrow and couldn’t move? What would you do if life was no longer yours? How would you respond to people if you were unable to breathe for yourself, unable to talk and although you were being told to “blink one for yes and two for no” , you had no spatial awareness or feeling? By   Naomi Lambert ,  Creator and Founder   at   The Cool To Be Kind Project I won’t sugar coat it. It’s a living hell. I know, because I have been there. In 2008, I contracted an autoimmune disorder known as Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) although my diagnosis was changed to CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyradiculoneuropathy) after my symptoms didn’t seem to get better. “They aren’t getting worse” I remember the doctor saying which, in hindsight, is hilarious considering I was already in ICU, on life support, tubes in all places and unable to move.  In Guillain-BarrĂ© syndrome, the body’s immune system attacks part of the per...
